Additionally, lead or involvement in process improvement projects related to automation, PLC programming, data collection and cycle optimization.

Reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Scope: the maintenance and improvements of the Electrical/Electronic installations of the Plant.

Main responsibilities:

MAINTENANCE.

Supports the Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Team in order to make sure that effective Preventive, Predictive, Improvement and Corrective Maintenance is done in Production and General Service Equipment.

Collaborates in the failure solving process with the production maintenance people.

Complies with corrective and preventive maintenance metrics.

Write and maintain procedures of Electrical/Electronic Maintenance for the Equipment and Installations of the Plant.

To collaborate as required with other departments as Production, Quality, TIC and suppliers.

Train the team to keep the technicians with a proper level of knowledge along the time.

NEW EQUIPMENT.

To collaborate and work together with Project team in regards of activities and timing needed for equipment startup, URS and equipment and components selection.

To participate in the startup of new equipment.

To work together with the Maintenance Supervisor in order that maintenance knowledge for all new equipment is transferred from Project team to area technicians.

To develop, in conjunction with Project team, maintenance routines for new equipment.

To assume technical responsibility of the new equipment once the startup.

IMPROVEMENTS IN EQUIPMENT

To collaborate with both knowledge and resources, with machine improvement team.

To minimize technical issues in these equipment.

To lead or collaborate with Process Engineers, in respect of the improvement of equipment.Keep and practice ownership on production equipment in all related to automation, electronics, communications, programing and cycle optimization.

GENERAL

Develop and follow-up the new improvement or expansion projects with CB2 preparation as necessary.

Contact with Electrical-Electronic Suppliers in order to get help in improvement projects, technical problems or material quotation requisitions.

Requisitos

BACKGROUND

Engineering degree in Automation or equivalent.

Industrial background:

Automatic processes, Machinery, Installations, Automatic Control and PLC programming.
Networking knowledge (IT & industrial)
Industrial & NAT switches configuration.
Industrial Standard communication protocols (OPC, Ethernet IP, Omron FINS, Modbus...)
Experienced in MES & industrial data collection systems
Experienced in Windows based servers and networks.
Languages: Proficient in Spanish and English.

EXPERIENCE

Desirable to demonstrate 5 years in a similar job.
